Books |
The
book is NOT critical for the training, but it is an excellent desktop
reference and guide to how Group Policy works completely. The cost of
the book is $40 - the cost on the book cover is $50, so this is a 20%
discount. You can see the book here:

Session Info |
Group Policy is the
only way to manage and secure Windows servers and desktops in a Windows
Active Directory environment. This all-day course will go over the
foundations, basics, and key configurations for Group Policy. The class
will go beyond the basics to decrypt how to properly design, implement,
and manage Group Policy. With over 5000 settings available in a single
Group Policy Object, a large number of settings will be covered in the
class, including settings that can eliminate logon scripts, reduce power
consumption costs, configure desktops consistently, and of course,
secure servers and desktops. The class is presented by Group Policy MVP
and MSPress
Group Policy Resource Kit
author, Derek Melber.
