Session Guidelines

Over the years, participants in training sessions have shared their concern about interruptions that may have been off-topic or impeded the flow of the presentation.  We have developed the following guidelines for our chapter events.  We welcome your input, suggestions, support and your constructive criticism.   

• To avoid interruptions, set mobile phones to vibrate
• Listen with interest and speak up when you have questions
• Interact with others
• Be open minded and treat your colleagues respectfully, remember we are a diverse group of professionals with varying degrees of business and technical expertise
• If you wish to contribute to the presentation discussion, please keep it concise, relevant to the topic and make sure it does not impede the instruction
• Keep side conversations to minimum
• Don't complain about it, volunteer to make it better
• End sessions on time
