President
The president leads the chapter board and is looked upon as the local representative of ISACA by the membership and the community.  The president directs chapter activities and efforts to ensure professional and personal growth for the membership. Reference: Chapter Bylaws Article V Section 3.A

First Vice President (Programs)
The First Vice President assists as needed with presidential responsibilities and serve as Chairperson of the Programs Committee; soliciting, coordinating and delivering topical sessions to membership in support of their continuing education needs.  Reference: Chapter Bylaws Article V Section 3.B

Second Vice President (Membership)
The Second Vice President assists as needed with presidential responsibilities and serve as Chairperson to the Membership Committee.  This volunteer is responsible for promoting interest in the Chapter by facilitating membership reporting and inquiries.  Reference: Chapter Bylaws Article V Section 3.C

Treasurer
The Treasurer maintains a balanced chapter financial record, consisting of a general ledger, checkbook, savings bank book, treasurer’s reports, financial correspondence, canceled checks, deposit slips, and bills outstanding.  The treasurer is responsible for the Issuance of payments for all incurred expenses and collection of all funds owed to the chapter.  This volunteer prepares treasurer’s report for board meetings, and a year-end report for the association.  Reference: Chapter Bylaws Article V Section 3.E

Secretary  
The Secretary maintains all chapter records, including attendance records for Board and chapter meetings.  This volunteer  maintains official documents, including bylaws, charter, incorporate records, insurance records, official membership list (indicating officers, directors, and committee chairs) and serves as the board parliamentarian.  Reference: Chapter Bylaws Article V Section 3.D

Directors (3)   
Directors shall assist in the administration of chapter business including approval of chapter objectives and programs and service to committees and appointments including, but not limited to CISA coordinator, web master, and academic liaison.  Reference: Chapter Bylaws Article V Section 3.G

Appointed Volunteer Positions (Serves July 1 – June 30)

Research Directors (2)
Reporting to the chapter president, the Research Director acts as the chapter’s primary contact with ISACA’s research department to become the chapter’s subject matter expert (SME) in ISACA’s knowledge deliverables.  In this role, volunteers help to identify potential SMEs to participate in development or review of ISACA research products and attend quarterly calls scheduled by ISACA HQ to learn about newly released, ongoing & future research developments.   The research director will liaise with chapter Marketing Director, Newsletter Editor, Webmaster, and Education/Program Director to ensure dissemination of information about ISACA research to chapter members.  Likewise, the appointed volunteers will maintain ongoing communication with ISACA HQ research department to provide feedback on deliverables.  Research Directors are appointed by the chapter President for a two-year term.

Audit & Nominations
The Audit & Nominations Committee is responsible for auditing the Chapter books within three months after the fiscal year end (June 30) or at the change of the Treasurer or other officers with fiduciary responsibilities, whether the change be by election or vacancy.  The committee is also responsible for soliciting and making suggestions for likely candidates for the next slate of Officers and Board of Directors.  Reference: Chapter Bylaws Article VII Section 1.03

Academic Liaison
The Academic Liaison works with local industry and educational institutions to raise awareness of the Association.

Certification Coordinator
One of the most important and successful of the association’s professional activities is the certification programs: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certification in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), and Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).  The Coordinator(s) is responsible for promotion and information on the certification programs for the members of the chapter and other interested parties.  This volunteer position works with certification candidates to determine interest in and facilitation of preparatory review sessions.

Facilities Coordinator   
The Facilities Coordinator works in partnership with the Programs Chairperson and the Treasurer to provide event logistics including, but not limited to, meeting space, audio-visual needs, and refreshments.

Webmaster   
The Webmaster is responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing the overall web development for ISACA-RTC.  The volunteer is guided by policies and directives issued by the Chapter Board of Directors and guidance from ISACA., but exercises considerable independent judgment in accomplishing the work and developing new web services for the organization

Scholarship Committee   
The Scholarship Committee is responsible for administering the William M. Alston Memorial Scholarship(s) award.  This $500 scholarship is provided to two (2) qualified applicants in May and made payable in the name of the recipient and the college or university.  All decisions made by this Committee are considered final.
